When First Data, a leading global payments processor, sought to create an innovative thought leadership marketing piece, they enlisted Atomic Wash for conceptualization and execution. Collaborating closely with First Data’s Product marketing team and, we identified a magazine as the optimal format.
As the Creative Director, I led the team in producing “Connected,” the first magazine ever created by First Data. We meticulously crafted a publication rich with compelling design, writing, photography, and custom illustrations. Our team, in partnership with First Data, developed the magazine’s content from cover to cover, conducting interviews with key stakeholders across various business verticals and addressing timely topics in the payments industry such as eCommerce fraud, global commerce, Millennial spending trends, and consumer behavior shifts.
I was “hands-on” with every issue, from concepts and planning to photography, illustrations and layout. Under my direction, Atomic Wash developed a sophisticated look and feel that aligned with both the content’s tone and the First Data brand identity. “First Data Connected” was launched as a printed publication and a digital version hosted on First Data’s website.
