Brand Strategy and Development
For five years, First Data® evolved from a payment processing company to a global payments technology leader. Initially, they engaged Atomic Wash for a small internal presentation project. When the vice president’s presentation, under my creative direction, caught the company president’s attention, it was elevated to his level for delivery. This quickly established Atomic Wash as their agency of record.
We worked closely with First Data’s sub-brands, including Clover®, Gyft®, Gift Solutions®, STAR®, and Money Network®, producing a wide range of impactful B2B and B2C marketing materials. Comprehensive Marketing Collateral and World-Class Presentations
Atomic Wash helped set new standards for First Data’s internal and external presentations, delivering visually consistent, well-branded materials. Through clear and concise designs, we ensured messaging resonated with target audiences.
Equality and Stewardship: Diversity Outreach Campaign
To celebrate National Pride Month, we developed the “Everyone Shops Here” campaign, promoting inclusion and acceptance. Merchants using First Data and Clover products received promotional kits to amplify participation. This campaign successfully combined diversity messaging with brand promotion.
Thought Leadership: PSD2 White Paper
We simplified complex international payment regulations into an engaging, visually appealing white paper. By integrating strong graphic elements and highlighting key insights, we created a design template that elevated readability and impact.
CFI Marketing Collateral
First Data often tasked us with creating marketing materials for community financial institutions. Aligning with brand standards and adhering to federal banking regulations, we consistently delivered designs and messaging tailored to this unique audience.
Brand Awareness Multi-channel Campaign
To introduce Security & Fraud Solutions and their Fraud Detect product, we developed a cohesive, award-winning campaign across airport advertising, social media, and print channels. Using a unified theme and QR-code tracking, the campaign generated significant interest and measurable results, earning a Midas Award for our efforts.
