Project

Parlux

Overview

When Smart Source brought us in to support their pitch to Parlux — a respected fragrance manufacturer known for its licensed designer brands — they needed more than just product ideas. They needed a high-fashion, brand-aligned presentation that could sell the vision. As Creative Director, I led the creative direction and was hands-on with both the design and product photography.

Our task was to concept fresh, feasible gift-with-purchase (GWP) items for 12 designer fragrances. We researched each brand, tracked current trends, and developed multiple options per fragrance, complete with 3D mockups to give Parlux a clear sense of each idea’s potential.

Midway through the project, the client’s product samples were delayed in customs just days before the pitch. Our producer Anita quickly sourced lookalike items locally, and I photographed and extensively retouched them in-house to match the original products. It was a fast pivot that kept the project on track.

We packaged the final presentation as a fashion-inspired lookbook—elevated, stylish, and tailored to resonate with Parlux’s sensibilities. The result? Buyers selected 11 of our designs for production. It was a creative win and a testament to what a nimble, visually focused team can deliver under pressure.
